Established in 1977 to honor the memory of Harold Rosenthal, a Senate staff member who was a victim of a terrorist act while on official duty at age 29, the Rosenthal Fellowship program provides graduate students in international affairs with the opportunity to intern at a congressional or executive branch office in federal, state or local government for the summer.
