Piper Sandler’s 2026 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship designed for undergraduate students interested in finance, economics, and business. Interns work within industry or product groups—such as Technology in the Washington, D.C. office—developing skills in financial modeling, company and industry analysis, and capital markets. The program begins with a week of formal training near the firm’s Minneapolis headquarters and includes networking events throughout the summer. Serving as a direct pipeline to full-time analyst roles, the internship seeks students graduating in December 2026 or May/June 2027 who demonstrate strong analytical, leadership, and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected, and prior coursework or self-study in finance and accounting is recommended.
