AICPA Fellowships for Minority Doctoral Students
Opportunity Details
The first step in becoming a CPA is to complete your higher education. Graduating from a nationally or regionally accredited College or university is strongly recommended. The AICPA is looking for scholarship applicants who are declared accounting, finance or related majors and intend to pursue the CPA license. Become an AICPA Legacy Scholar by applying for an AICPA Legacy Scholarship. If chosen, you’ll be given funds to help pay for College and be offered exclusive professional development opportunities.
The AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students ensures that CPAs of diverse backgrounds are visible in College and university classrooms. The program’s goal is to increase the number of minority CPAs who serve as role models and mentors to young people in the academic environment. The AICPA Foundation awards annual fellowships of $12,000 to Full Time minority accounting Ph.D. scholars who demonstrate significant potential to become accounting educators.
