WHAT AWAITS YOU. 

  • Collaboration with business partners and IT departments to understand company needs and assist with troubleshooting reporting issues etc.
  • Optimizes joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project design
  • Support of daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc tasks required for the ongoing reporting and analytical requirements for their business function
  • Supports the development and know-how transfer for BI Tools and Technologies in the BMW Group on key projects and day-to-day operations.
  • Supports analysis of business-critical data and recommends improvements.
  • Communicates findings to Business Intelligence team and business decision makers on latest data analytics technologies, BI Tools and Technologies and assists the team in process matters as related to development/support.
  • Maintains accurate, meaningful and updated technical and non-technical documentation pertaining to all aspects of area(s) of responsibility and performs tasks as required by the responsible management team in data science.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING. 

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have completed at least 60 college credits or be at least a rising Junior
  • Field of study: Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, and/or Engineering
  • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
  • Any prior skills in BI tools (i.e. Tableau, Qlik Sense, etc.) is preferred
  • Programming skills in languages (i.e. SQL, Python, R, etc.)
  • Fully proficient in MS Office Products – Outlook, Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint
  • Report development skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
