Opportunity Details

Freedom of information is under attack in our libraries. Please choose a local, state, or national issue affecting libraries and write a 3 – 5-page essay designing an awareness program or outreach activity for your library to include your objective and desired outcomes. The deadline to submit your essay is December 20th. Each year, African American students enrolled in or accepted by ALA-accredited programs are awarded The E. J. Josey Scholarships which are unrestricted grants of $2,000.
