Emma E. Buckley Scholarship
Opportunity Details
The Emma E. Buckley Scholarship was established in honor of Emma E. Buckley, a long-time philanthropist in Kentucky. This renewable scholarship is awarded to high school seniors attending Woodford County High School and Fayette County Public Schools who demonstrate significant financial need. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Preference is given to first-generation College students. This scholarship provides an award of $2,500 that is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study. Applications run from early November until the due date, and award notifications are sent in May.
Thanks to generous donors, we have awarded more than $5 million dollars to support students working to reach their full potential with educational opportunities beyond high school. We manage more than 50 scholarships, each with varying criteria and award amounts. While some of the scholarships are administered through a designated high school or organization, most are administered through our Scholarship Portal where students are matched with more than 25 scholarship opportunities.
