Esperanza United’s Research and Policy Latin@ Leadership Fellowship provides training, professional development, and networking opportunities for Latina women pursuing research and policy advocacy careers. The purpose of this fellowship is to promote Latin@ leadership and scholarship at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the field of gender-based violence. We will select a total of 10 policy and research fellows to participate as a cohort in this fellowship.

As a culturally specific, Latin@ organization, Esperanza United has the goal to uplift Latinas’ professional lives by providing access to more opportunities. By creating a space where they can receive first-hand experience, develop skills, and make connections, we are building a more equitable standing ground for Latinas as they kick-start their careers in public policy, research, and leadership.
