Opportunity Details

The GBHEM scholarship application opens in January of each year. You can only submit one application per year where it will be screened for all possible eligible programs. You may indicate on the first page of the scholarship application which of the below listed programs you would most like to be considered for. Scholarship programs are divided into three categories: General Scholarships, Racial-Ethnic Scholarships, and Ministry as a Career Scholarships.

GBHEM offers the Helen and Allen Brown Scholarship. The Helen and Allen Brown Scholarship is for racial-ethnic minority undergraduates who are members of the United Methodist Church within the Nashville, TN., or New Orleans, LA, Districts for at least three years. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
