Opportunity Details
We seek a Development Fellow to join our Development Department. The ideal candidate will contribute to the specific coordination of projects related to fundraising for both the 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations (including funder research, proposal development, grants management, and reporting), deepen their knowledge and understanding of the social justice community, and build relationships with program staff to support the organizations’ core issue areas. The fellow will also have the opportunity to work closely with their supervisor, Director, Development, to complete various projects according to the unique strengths and interests, as well as identified needs of the department/organizations to build a portfolio of experience for future opportunities in development.
Eligible candidates are young professionals of color with a demonstrated commitment to civil and human rights as demonstrated through course of study and work experience. The Fellow must demonstrate an interest in a fundraising career in the social justice space. This opportunity should be utilized as a vehicle for career advancement in development, not a side-step into program or policy work.
